Government Web Regulations that came into effect JANUARY 2007!!!
IMPORTANT!!!
Government imposes further Business Regulations.
Are you legal? Failure to comply may result in a £1,000 fine
The government has imposed further regulations on businesses relating to websites and emails! (An update to The Companies Act 1985 - The Companies (Registrar, Languages and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2006)
Did you know that you now have to display your company registration number, place of registration and registered office address on your company website?
This information should also appear on all business stationery and business emails.
As you know, this information has long been required on 'business stationery', but the requirement has been extended to websites and electronic documents with effect from 1st January 2007.
We appreciate that not everybody may be aware of these regulations and we will be happy to discuss the quickest and easiest ways of implementing these regulations, so that you can rest assured your business is meeting the legal requirements.
